yeah I tried that, but I didn't really like the way the taste of the almonds clashed with the fruit afterward

I agree about the sticking to teeth though

Yea, seems like broccoli is pretty versatile. I just started eating broccoli
about a year ago--never liked it before, but I'm glad to have acquired a
taste for it.

I like to finish with almonds too, but I've found lately that finishing with
an apple or carrots and eating the almonds before the meal leaves my teeth
cleaner. The almonds tend to get stuck in my teeth, and I feel like that's
prolly not such a good thing if I'm not going to brush immediately after.

Love it - we've been doing the same with the florets too. Easy ad quick. Also sometimes add sesame oil also for a different flavor, but we've found the beauty is you can almost anything, or nothing

Nice.

My standard meal lately has been 4oz of thin chicken breast George Forman cooked with buttrub spice http://www.buttrub.com/, 2 1/2 cups of frozen broccli (pretty close to a whole back) just simmered in water for a few mins, then an apple or 2 cups of strawberries, followed up by 12 almonds. will deff be trying out ur recipe
